Welcome to Wild At Art - by DR / DR Fine Art. By browsing this website, purchasing products, or commissioning custom artwork, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General & Seller Identification

This website is operated by Delphine Rébois, trading as DR Fine Art, registered for business and tax in Sweden (Innehar F-skattsedel).

  • Applicable Law: Purchases made through this website are governed by Swedish law and applicable European Union consumer regulations.

2. Products & Artwork Descriptions

  • Original Art & Reproductions: All soft pastel original works, limited edition hand-drawn reproductions, Giclée fine art prints, and canvas prints are described and photographed as accurately as possible. Minor color variations may occur due to individual monitor or screen settings.

  • Handmade Nature: Limited pastel reproductions are individually hand-drawn with pure raw pigments. As such, subtle artistic variations exist between individual pieces in a series, making each artwork unique.

  • Indoor Use Only: All Giclée fine art prints, pastel works, and canvas items are designed strictly for indoor display away from direct sunlight, excess moisture, or extreme temperatures to preserve archival quality.

3. Prices, Taxes & Currency

  • Listed Currency: Prices are displayed in Euros (€) unless otherwise indicated.

  • Included Shipping & Taxes: Listed website prices for standard shop items include applicable taxes and standard shipping to addresses within EU Countries, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Norway.

  • Worldwide Orders: For orders to countries outside the above countries, custom shipping quotes will be provided prior to order confirmation.

  • Customs & Import Duties: For deliveries outside the European Union, the buyer is responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or clearance fees applied by their country's customs authority.

4. Custom Artwork & Commissions

Custom animal portraits and bespoke wildlife paintings are subject to a separate agreement upon inquiry:

  • Down Payment: A non-refundable 80% down payment is required before work commences on any commissioned painting.

  • Approval Process: High-resolution digital previews will be provided for review before final delivery. Minor adjustments can be made at this stage.

  • Final Payment: The remaining 20% balance plus any applicable shipping fees must be paid in full prior to dispatch or local pickup.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Estimated Lead Times: Standard shop items and prints are processed within normal fulfillment schedules. Custom commissions typically require 1 to 3 months for completion, excluding shipping transit times.

  • Packaging: All artworks and prints are securely packaged to protect pigments and paper integrity during transit.

  • Delivery Delays: While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, DR Fine Art is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carrier disruptions, customs handling, or incorrect delivery addresses provided by the buyer.

6. Right of Withdrawal & Returns (Ångerrätt)

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler):

  • Standard Prints & Merchandise (14 Days): You have the right to cancel and return standard, non-customized shop purchases (e.g., standard photo prints, un-numbered posters) within 14 days of receiving the product.

    • Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

    • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Exclusions (Custom Commissions & Limited Reproductions):

    • Custom Commissions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom commissioned artwork (e.g., pet portraits made to your specifications) once work has commenced.

    • Limited Edition / Made-to-Order Reproductions: Short-series hand-drawn pastel reproductions made individually to order are exempt from standard returns once produced.

If your item arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

7. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Ownership: All copyright, design rights, and intellectual property in all original artworks, reproductions, photographs, text, and images on this website remain the sole property of Delphine Rébois (DR Fine Art).

  • Reproduction Rights: Purchasing an original artwork, print, or custom portrait grants the owner physical possession of the piece, but does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. Artwork may not be copied, scanned, resold for commercial gain, or reproduced without explicit written consent from the artist.

  • Merchandise Usage: DR Fine Art reserves the right to create and sell prints or promotional merchandise based on original artworks and completed commissioned works unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

DR Fine Art shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the handling and display of purchased artwork outside recommended care instructions.

9. Privacy Policy Summary

Personal information provided during purchase or inquiry (name, address, email, phone number) is used solely to process your orders, fulfill custom commissions, and communicate regarding your requests. Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties, except as required for order fulfillment (e.g., shipping carriers or payment processors).
